The statutes for Aalborg University is stipulated on the grounds of the University Act and regulates the overall function of the university.
The statutes describe the general purpose of Aalborg University and stipulates the constitution of the management and of the remaining organisation. In addition the statutes regulate election for the governing bodies of the university and stipulates the overall regulation of the accountancy.
The statutes are stipulated by the university board and is approved by the minister.
